In order to reduce the total expenses of the Index Tracker (the “Fund”), the manager of the Fund has decided to waive the Fund’s establishment costs and the management fees to be paid or payable by the Fund for the period from its commencement date (26 January 2010) up to and including 31 October 2010, amounted to approximately HKD 3.12 million in aggregate. The establishment costs will also be borne by the manager. This arrangement will have an effect of increasing the daily net asset value per unit of the Fund and the tracking error of the Fund will be decreased daily by approximately 0.05% for the period from 22 September 2010 up to and including 31 October 2010.
    • 2. The "Number of Securities" represents the number of Base Securities held by the Index Tracker. For the avoidance of doubt, the Index Tracker aims to achieve its investment objective by mainly acquiring Base Securities (each of which is a financial derivative ) which tracks the performance of A Shares but it does not give the Index Tracker any right, ownership or interest in the underlying A share(s).
